Who Will Support You?

I am Julia Fabich, counselor (Individual Psychology according to Alfred Adler), coach, and book author.

When I received my own Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, I lacked the support that I now offer to others.

My work helps you process the shock, regain your ability to act, and restore your sense of self-efficacy.

Here, my passion for female empowerment meets real impact: women are three times more likely than men to be affected by Multiple Sclerosis – making it all the more important that they remain strong, confident, and empowered.

I understand that an MS diagnosis can also be financially challenging. If the investment is not possible at the moment, please contact me. Together we will find a fair solution.

Who Is This Coaching & Counseling For?

Good to know: MS is a neurological condition that manifests differently in each person, which is why it is often called “the disease with a thousand faces.” With the right treatment and support, it is possible to live well with MS.

FAQ: Psychotherapy, Psychological Counseling, and Coaching After an MS Diagnosis

An MS diagnosis raises many questions – including which type of support is right for you at this stage. Here you will find answers to the most common questions about psychological counseling, psychosocial support, coaching, and the difference from psychotherapy.

As a certified life coach and counselor, I provide psychological and psychosocial counseling. This means I support you in coping with emotional challenges and everyday life with MS.

This is not therapy or medical treatment. Instead, we focus on practical strategies, emotional relief, and gaining new perspectives. The goal is for you to feel empowered, self-determined, and confident.

Difference from Psychotherapy:
Counseling is for people who are mentally healthy but facing difficult life situations. Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is aimed at those with diagnosed mental health conditions.

Psychotherapy is recommended if a mental health condition such as depression, anxiety disorder, or adjustment disorder has been diagnosed.

If your goal is to cope with the diagnosis, strengthen your resources, and create a fulfilling life with MS, counseling with someone experienced in Multiple Sclerosis is the right support for you.

Counseling provides support during life crises, personal challenges, or difficult emotions. Coaching is more focused on goals, solutions, and action steps.

By combining counseling and coaching, I help you both process emotions and achieve meaningful goals, providing the best possible support for your journey.

Important Notice:

I do not provide medical diagnoses or give therapy recommendations. My services offer a safe space for emotional support, not medical advice.

I am a counselor according to the Austrian Life and Social Counseling Act (§ 119 GewO) and support people through life crises, change processes, and emotionally challenging situations.

My work does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. Instead, I provide a safe space for processing emotions, reflection, new beginnings, and strengthening self-efficacy.
